Spinning Wheels

Chihuly’s drawings and prints typically depict his work in glass—Ikebana are represented as gestural vessels from which long stems erupt; Chandeliers become abstract pendulums hanging against mottled backgrounds; Floats lift from the paper as textured, vibrantly outlined orbs.
