  • Menu prices are current and subject to change and are confirmed three months in advance.
  • All menu prices are subject to a 22% service charge and state sales tax (currently 10.35%).

Event Standards & Guidelines

SETUP TIMES:

  • The Arbor - 2 hrs prior to guest arrival
  • The Bar at Chihuly Garden and Glass - 2 hrs prior to guest arrival
  • The Glasshouse - 3 hrs prior to guest arrival

VENDORS:

  • All vendors must have signed and acknowledged the CGG Vendor Guidelines form prior to arriving onsite.
  • Event Planning Manager will schedule and stagger arrival of vendors so there is never more than 2 trucks unloading at the same time.  Because we don’t have a loading dock having more than two trucks on campus at a time will create a safety issue for pedestrians on campus as well as too many vendors going through the gardens disturbing our guests.  
  • Chihuly Garden and Glass does not provide complimentary parking for vendors.

PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES:

  • Photos are permitted in the area rented out for events. Any photographs taken on site may not be reproduced, published, distributed, sold, transferred or otherwise commercially exploited. They are only permissible for personal, non-distributional use (i.e., a photographer cannot use an image to promote his or her personal services). For events, tripods and outside lighting are permissible. 
  • If photos are desired in areas not covered by space rental, the following process applies:
    • Photo session can be scheduled through your sales contact before or after opening hours. This includes access to the exhibition for 1.5 hours. If visiting in the morning, must be clear 30 minutes before exhibition opens. Pre-event wedding photos are not allowed in the garden or Exhibition while the Exhibition is open to the public.
    • Refrain from touching, leaning on or propping anything on the artwork or platforms. Remain only on paved walkways in the Garden. 
    • Chihuly Garden and Glass must be made aware of, and pre-approve, any props (i.e., bouquets) in advance.
    • Tripods and outside lighting are permissible. 
    • Photographer must sign the photographer guidelines and photography license.
    • Client must prearrange their visit with Event Planning Manager.
    • Client must be escorted by Sales Manager or Event Planning Manager.

RENTALS & DECOR:

  • All décor (including permitted displays, lighting, rental items and any planned activities brought into or conducted within Chihuly Garden and Glass by Group or its vendors, shall be previously approved in writing by Center Art LLC, which approval may be given or withheld in its sole discretion, including in accordance with the care and function of the artwork. Group must present a full plan of proposed décor, rental items, and activities for approval. No fireworks or incendiary devices may be used indoors.
  • All tents, furniture and required service items must be ordered through Center Art LLC. All tents must have gutters and flooring in the winter or when rain is expected.
  • The lowest point of the Glasshouse Chandelier is 11’-6”.  To protect the artwork, the height limitation of any décor or staging equipment is 9’6”.
  • Group may not display or hang banners, signage, or any similar items, including window clings, on the interior or exterior of any building in or at the venue, including the Glasshouse.
  • Lighting in the Glasshouse or Plaza must be complimentary to the artwork.  Red, yellow, orange, and white are permitted, subject to Center Art LLC’s approval.
  • Lighting, soft seating, ladders, performers and other Event related items or décor are not permitted in the Interior Galleries.
  • Group may not affix anything to the walls, floors, or ceilings anywhere in the venue. 
  • Glitter, confetti and paint, smoke or fog machines are not allowed in Chihuly Garden and Glass.
  • Live trees or plants are not permitted anywhere in the venue.  CGG reserves the right to require Group to be responsible for providing all fire extinguishing requirements.
  • Entertainment and other set up items are not allowed in the Galleries.
  • The Bar at Chihuly Garden and Glass tables are not allowed to be removed from the The Bar.
  • No smoking (including vaporizing) allowed anywhere in CGG including in the Garden.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES & FEES:

  • Coat Check Attendants - $250 per attendant for up to 4 hrs, $50 per hr for additional hours
  • Carving Attendants - $300 per event
  • Chihuly Garden and Glass Photographer - $495 for 4 hrs
  • Drayage fees -
    • $100 acceptance fee
    • $50 for every additional box under 25 lbs
    • $100 for every additional box over 25 lbs

All valet pricing includes a $5 gratuity per vehicle parked. Valet is subject to availability and changes.

DROP-OFF:

  • Individual guests: The turn around loop in front of the Space Needle is open for passenger loading & unloading.
  • Motorcoach: There is a cut out on Broad St. right outside the Space Needle, great for drop off via motorcoach.

MONORAIL:

  • The nation’s first full-scale commercial monorail system and a beloved Seattle landmark, the Seattle Center Monorail provides a fun, quick, and convenient link between downtown Seattle and the Space Needle.
